Women’s and Children’s Health Project
Join Us in Transforming Lives and Landscapes in Madagascar:
Empowering Communities Through Health and Conservation
We are proud to announce the launch of our Women’s and Children’s Health Project, a groundbreaking initiative that bridges healthcare and conservation to support communities around the new Andasibe-Mantadia to Analamazaotra Special Reserve reforestation corridor. This program is a collaborative effort to improve maternal and child health while fostering sustainable ecosystems in one of the world’s most biodiverse regions.
Why This Initiative Matters
Madagascar’s rural families face some of the world’s highest maternal and neonatal mortality rates, with limited access to critical healthcare services. At the same time, these communities live at the heart of unique ecosystems under threat from deforestation and habitat loss. By integrating health services with conservation programs, we aim to strengthen families and empower them to protect their environment for future generations.
Our Goals
Working alongside our trusted partners—Marie Stopes Madagascar, The Mad Dog Initiative, and Mitsinjo—we aim to:
• Deliver Mobile Health Outreach
Provide family planning services, vaccinations, and health education to underserved villages.
• Address Maternal and Child Health Needs
Supply healthcare materials, support medical staff, and improve access to essential health services.
• Foster Conservation-Driven Programs
Strengthen biodiversity protection efforts while promoting sustainable livelihoods for local communities.
How You Can Make an Impact
Your support is vital to the success of this project. Every contribution helps us provide medical supplies, fund transportation for health outreach teams, and deliver health and conservation education to communities in need.
By donating, you’ll play a key role in ensuring healthier families, thriving ecosystems, and a sustainable future for Madagascar’s communities.
